FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Aetna and I provide superbills for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.

In order to make the process of seeking out-of-network reimbursement easier, I also partner with Mentaya, a platform that automatically submits claims to your insurance company for a 5% fee of the claim amount. To verify if you have out-of-network benefits and find out how much your insurance will reimburse, click here.

*This is an optional service. Clients are not required to utilize Mentaya for insurance reimbursement.

What is your fee & what forms of payment do you accept?

My fee is $150/session and I accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

You are entitled to request/receive a Good Faith Estimate of services and fees. This document provides an estimate of fees for up to 12 months of services. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth?

I see clients in person or via telehealth in Fresno, and via telehealth throughout California.

What is your availability?

I see clients Tuesday-Thursday, including evening sessions (limited).

How long is a session & how often will I see you?

Sessions are 55 minutes.

I see clients, weekly or every-other week, and as-needed for long-term clients that may need additional, periodic support.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

Please arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment time. I’ll meet you in the waiting room and escort you to my office (or virtual office if we’re meeting via telehealth). We’ll start with a brief orientation to my therapeutic approach and I’ll answer any questions you may have before exploring your goals. I’ll also begin to gather some initial information to deepen my understanding.
